I'm a gamer; according to my XB360 i have a "gamer score" of 50,000+ and have played 153 games on it so far(most of which were played within my first 2 years of owning it). Of course i have played more games than that; on consoles from Sony, PC, Nintendo and so forth. I like all types of games, but my favorite genre would be RPG. I do play FPS but not that often except for Left 4 Dead 2(main FPS game).
I've played a few different MMORPGs but never really stuck with any except for FFXI, I have recently quit due to the fact that I am eagerly awaiting FFXIV and I would gain nothing now by continuing FFXI. :(
I like anime; I have watched way more then I have listed(working on the list as i remember what I've watched)(also I'm only putting anime I have watched fully(every episode) or am caught up to date on. Going back to me have watched more anime than listed, i have seen a bunch of anime including mainstream shows like Inuyasha, Pokemon, Digimon, Big-O, Tenchi Muyo, Eureka 7, Ghost in the Shell, etc.(shows I've seem a majority of episodes but never "completed"). Then there are the other shows that I've have dabbled in but got to busy to keep watching or got distracted like everyone else, stuff like Shiki, Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Persona 4 the animation, and far to many to list off, but i would like to finish them when i get a chance. I'll tend to watch an anime fully even if I don't particulurly like it; this way i can at least talk about it and know what it was about instead of just saying "oh, well that show was boring, or didn't have a plot, or blah blah blah"(I like to give everything a far chance)
I have yet to really get into manga yet, normally I don't have time to just sit and read like i would like to. That being said I would most likely be a manga fan as well.
I've gone to 1 anime con so far(somewhat recently). Absolutely loved it! Sadly I did not cosplay :( but I want to next time. My problem is normally I don't have extra cash to be able to attend cons and I severely lack friends that are into such things too :(
If you have gotten this far, I would like to commend you, as I know I can be long winded at times. I am an open book, very adventurous, love to try new things, foods and places, I can be loud and obnoxious sometimes(all in good fun). Yet despite all that I've been told that I can come off as shy and withdrawn at times. Really I'm a "juicy fruit"; one big contradiction. I am a Gemini so that kind of explains it(no I don't really believe all that stuff and the whole daily horoscope thing, but I do have some traits that a "Gemini" would have). I have almost 2 completely different personalities; most people think I'm strange and don't stay around long enough to understand both sides of me, but I'm okay with that. The friends I do have that know the real me, I wouldn't trade anything for them ^^. I also tend to digress often as I feel like you are starting to see, but it doesn't take much to get me back on track. A good example is this paragraph; I was going to talk about what I do, my other interests and so forth but you saw what happened.
Other interests I have, there are a LOT! A few random things, economic, different kinds of businesses, philosophy, different religions(how they relate and differ), psychology, electronics, software, modding, building all types of things, drawing. (yea, I know, a little more then a few were named....sorry). Some of my other main interests are, rollerblading, playing sports(not really watching unless it's tennis, but I'm not opposed to a gathering of my friends, chowing down, drinking beer and watching a game(it's also fun to place a wager on it to make it more interesting)); I prefer to play tennis; the biggest one that is comparable to my love of video games and anime is Martial Arts. I have taken ITF(international Tae Kwon Do Federation)-TKD(Tae Kwon Do) for about 4 years and have my 1st degree black belt in that(while taking TKD I looked into other martial arts like Muay Thai, Krav Maga(hated it, to many groin kicks), some random Chinese Kung Fu and Wushu, little bit of boxing.(I've been training on and off for about 7 years(life gets busy at times) and have been studying, watching and researching for about 10 years)
Things I am currently up to; once written out like this it does seem kind of overkill. None the less, I am taking year round classes in college for International Business(planning on finishing bachelors in about 2 - 2.5 years and going for masters after that). I am training in 4 different martial art schools; TKD, Wing Chun, Arnis, and Tang Soo Do (somewhat similar to TKD). I'm training in Muay Thai, Baguazahng, and Ju-justu with a friend.
The reason for so many arts is that I am creating my own martial arts, by taking things from certain arts and combining them with others; one could say like what Bruce Lee but I'm adding some more modern and up to date applications.(No, I'm not saying I'm Bruce Lee or even remotely close to being as good as he was. I think Lee is still by far the greatest martial artist of all time. If he was in this day and age he would be combining more modern arts into his repertoire because most martial arts have only gotten more effective with time. I do not think that the art he created was the best art ever and can beat anything, far from it in fact. If Lee took a different art and never created his own, he would still be considered the greatest because of his abilities and strength(he got into body building and that was the reason he was powerful even though he wasn't the "largest")(sorry long "rant")
Along with that I am hoping to write a book on humanity(kind of like a philosophy book about the nature of humans), and of course i have a ton of research to do on all the different religions, human psyche, and sociology.
There are other things but none that are as important to me as those 3.
Besides from that, I'm actually a pretty normal guy. I like to hang with friends, go out, BBQ, bond fires, party, maybe just chill & relax, and catch movies. Actually movies should of been one of the top paragraphs because I am a movie junkie. I've watched well over 500 movies(non-anime), my favorite genre is supernatural horror(horror in general but supernatural takes the cake) and zombies but sadly there aren't that many good zombie movies out there. I don't watch to many live action TV shows, I've seen a lot of different ones but there are only a few that i have completed or am fully caught up on. Scrubs(finished), How I Met Your Mother(up to date), The Walking Dead(up to date soon).
No more, cutting myself off now, if you have questions feel free to ask away(kinda doubt you'd have any after reading all this). On a side note(forgot to add this) I did not rate any of the anime, they are all "0/10" and I am not planning on rating any of my anime, but if you want to know what I thought I'd gladly tell you.
