I'm not really that good at talking about me. My name is CJ, writing is my passion but anime and manga are definitely a close second. I didn't get my start in anime until I was 16 and ever since I've been addicted. I've always had this dream of making my own anime and I have plenty of ideas but I can't draw for anything so we'll see how that dream plays out. I'm sure plenty of fans have that same dream though so I have no delusions that mine are special. I can watch just about any anime but I've never been too huge a fan of giant robots or war anime so most of the Gundam shows are out for me. I like Zoids, Gurren Lagaan, Eureka Seven, G Gundam, Aquarion and sometimes Big O but that's because they have interesting storylines to back up the huge robots. I'm not a super collector like I'd like to be and I've never been to a convention because they always come when I have school or some other problem. No one I know where I live likes anime so hopefully I will meet some cool people on here to chat with.
I'm also more of a lax watcher as far as the technical stuff behind the scenes. I'm more involved in the story line and the characters so a lot of times sounds and art work might slip past me also some of the stuff I watch is in Japanese I don't really notice or care if the voice acting isn't perfect as long as it isn't super terrible. Also, I watch dubs A LOT and sometimes I don't agree with who they chose to voice certain character but that doesn't stop me from loving the shows. I think people are too snobbish over stuff like voice acting. Sometimes I'm just glad I can understand whats going on without having to read everything.
