『疲れに ひめ 』 @mimi_hime oh man for cosplay sewing theres a lot of tips i can give you depending on what you want the tips on.like basic stuff is always iron as you go to flatten seam,it will take long but trut me the end result will look more clean and crisp,another is take your time with choosing fabrics ,they look different under different lighting,pay attention to the way they stretch and the way they drape and cling to your body,because it may look good at first but then when you try it on you will cry cus nothing fits or falls right,trust me this happened with a shiny spandex with me and i was pretty upset.also patterns are your friend,you can find them online or in stores and alter them for yourself, keep an eye on sales at your local fabric stores if your canadian fabric land has 2 sales each year wwhere everything is 75 off and if your american then hoard coupons for jo anns fabric,like summon your inner white mom and just stash those coupons even if you dont need them at the momen you will eventually, also for really nice folds,pleats and edges use spray on startch and iron it will hold the folds better.like i can give you more specified tips if you where to tell the cosplay you plan on making, as for model kits oh god,take your time to cute the pieces from there trays and sand the nubs off,if you dont want to paint then i suggest panel lining one thing is instead of using a marker there is like a liquid you press to a panel line and it fills it in so you dont have to be so careful i could find you the name becuse its what i use and its absolutely amazing
