(googled moore's law) hmm yeah based on that we might shortly have the data capacity for it! Not to mention that quantum computers with qubits are coming, which can also exponentially increase the storage capacities! But whats more interesting than gaining storage capacity is "biological Hard drives"!! Researchers have found few colonies of bacteria who communicate with each other similar to how our neurons inside our brain communicate! This was astonishing since its the first time living neuron-bacterias were found XD But on the funnier side, if we can exploit it, then we might be able to store information in those colonies as different patterns of bacterial communications (similar to how our brain stores information in the form of patterns of neuronal communications). And if we are able to achieve that feat then we can make artificial brains made up of REAL ALIVE BACTERIAL CELLS! And literally store our memories and what all in it, and that might be more compatible with us than non-organic hard drives and chips XD The Philosophical side of that feat if achieved is even more amazing.. as from the bacteria's point of view they are just communicating with each other and reacting to their environment, but as a collective group those communication patterns are actually INFORMATION WHICH WE STORE IN THEM! koyote2033 @koyote2303 Yes. I was tripping on how old Death Note was the other day. The ideas out of SAC just struck me as true one day. There was a lecture I had in a bio/engr class at college that had these ex CIA talking about these prosthetics they're now (ten years ago actually) working to advance and its on its way. I think its getting close to where replacing a barely able to walk leg will be close. And not far out where blowing an acl can mean lower leg replacement

. @vezax Not just that, we can already use our mind to controll virtual things like texting and using a mouse! not to mention that research regarding using your mind to controll another person's arm is also at work.. so i wont be surprised if all of the SAC ideas come out true ^^ i wish if we could upload our consciousness in net haha
