I'm usually not a fan of excessive gore, but if there's a good story to go with it, I can respect it. Romance bores me unless it's a REALLY decent romance, with reasons, logic, and basic psychology 101. I've heard a lot about Hellsing... Blood + sounds vaguely familiar. What's Berserk about?

Hi! I've been looking at different anime, trying to find one I can actually enjoy without wanting to burn the script. (Poorly-handled exposition drives me up a wall! -.-") At the moment I'm looking at GOSICK thanks to a recommendation from a friend of mine... Got any suggestions?
