Yeah, although I'm not saying that I will try to make a movie of Elfen Lied, it was more of an example. Realistically you would need a decent budget and big production cast for that film so you would also need to worry about legal rights and copyright and securing permission from certain companies and such so you wouldn't be sued to oblivion. But it would make an awsome movie if made correctly. They did a pretty good job with the live action Rurouni Kenshin and Death Note, as long as America keeps their hands off (like that horrible Dragonball Z movie) and let the Japanese do it, then things work out much better.

In response to what's up, I'm just working on video game concept art and music for the game my friends and I are making, That's most of my days in a nutshell next too reading manga in between breaks, watching anime, or Playing whatever videogame I can get my hands on! Oh, yeah they were meant for you. I sometimes do that accidentally. As far as turning books into movies, Hollywood has a pretty low success rate. They seemed to have done ok with Harry Potter and LOTR but I never finished reading those. I would love to see R. A. salvatore Dark Elf series turned into movies but it would need the same level of dedication as LOTR which will never happen because it's not as popular or well known. I'm actually working to buy equipment to work twords a career as a filmmaker. First on some documentaries and then some indie films, my first project I have planned is a book that is not very well known but is my favorite. Lost Souls by Poppy Z. Brite. Because I like dark edgy storylines. But in the long run I would love to translate books into movies properly, without regard to marketability. Things Hollywood does that piss me off like cut out scenes to keep the movie a specific length or edit scenes that are too contraversial or throw in big name stars whether they fit the part or not, I hate all that. I read a discussion lately about making a live action version of Elfen Lied. The main issue being that if you made an accurate version it would get XXX rating just for the gore because of some stupid Hollywood rule that if you use more than so many gallons of blood it gets XXX. I would make that movie and then upload it to bittorrent just as a a big FU to all the filmmaking industry!

I know how you feel i love to play 2d fighting games like Street Fighter even though i suck at them, Which is why i hardly ever play online :/
