:o you should send me a friend request on steam. when you got time maybe there is something you can join in! I tried to watch Naruto. but it seemed too generic for me and I simply could not watch it after like the first 100 before stopping. The manga was much better but the anime ruined it for me.

you don't need friends to play but having someone else to play with makes alota difference especially if you know them. like im not big on playing with strangers online but then I finally ran into someone else who played.

So, I feel like the very definition of NERD. Need to play video games to make this feeling go away.

ouch. I am currently in a Database class at school. Its only hard because I have to join everything I know with everything that I need for the test without getting them mixed up. Some of the people I work with make things more difficult than they need to be. Like, I am technically only an intern BUT I have been programming for 10+ years and have worked there for 19 months already. They seem to forget that sometimes because most of the interns only ever coded at school and have not had a prolonged exposure like I have. I mean, I get there are specific ways they want something done, but typical workplace stuff happens~ I did just start working in the client support area at the beginning of this year and only work like 18 hours a week so they shouldn't expect me to pick up everything they want right away. Aside from SQL and C#, I know: c++, C, PhP, LSL(Second Life Scripting), XML/HTML/some XLS, some Java, and VB. Really want to develop a game from scratch some day with just myself or a small team. What about you? How long have you been coding? What kind of other languages do you know? What got you into coding/Development?

.net is nice to use, but in your case if you cant create/use DLLs or stored procedures, it sounds like it would be a large pain. We get a lot of freedom in our code so long as we follow a coding standard. I also work with a lot of SQL statements and Oracle for both new functionality and bug fixing. Additionally, the Automated testing tools we use are written in c#. So that is always fun and interesting to watch a bunch of machines work all by themselves to perform testing.
