Hi everyone, I’m organising kit for our local sports club here in Ireland and we need around 40 custom patches with our club crest. We’re on a tight budget, so I’ve been trying to find the cheapest option for customized patches in Ireland, but I’m finding it harder than I expected. Some of the quotes I’ve received are surprisingly high for small orders, and a few of the very cheap online options ship from overseas with long delivery times. I’ve also read some mixed reviews about cheap patches fraying at the edges or the colours fading after a few washes, which is the last thing I want after spending club money. Before I place an order, I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has been through this: Is it better to order from an Irish patch maker or from an overseas supplier to save money? How much does the minimum order quantity affect the price per patch? Does the backing type (iron-on, sew-on or Velcro) change the cost much? What design details (size, number of colours, fine text) push the price up, and how can I keep it down?
