I read that when I was in Secondary School and back then I had no idea what I liked. I've read EVERY David Eddings book and own/owned most. I'd say most anime I watch have some sort of part of those books if I like it...lost-unknown past [anti-]hero, old-dirty-funny-cool-magical grandpa, probably-will-hit-you-HARD [sexy] heroine/lady.
