There's a few in New York but they're super-competitive and usually hire within their own network (aka I have no connections #WOMP). It'd be nice if I actually attended a school that allowed internships at an animation studio, but alas, they didn't allow it. I graduated from a bum school who didn't really care about your success... I've considered it! I don't really have family who would mind, nor pets, friends, or a girlfriend (#WOMP), so moving would probably be best. That being said, I need to improve my portfolio before even considering such a drastic move. As an on-topic side note: when I first entered college, I assumed there'd be plenty of remote opportunities by the time I graduated. While those opportunities do exist, it's only recently gaining traction (among indie studios, that is) but most major studios strictly enforce in-house. I really like the idea of working at home. It'd be nice wearing a suit for skype meetings but stick with pajamas for my bottom half :P I wouldn't have to shower everyda--ERR I MEAN!!! Yeah. :)

Funny, I have trouble coming up with words to say AND write! (admittedly writing is easier :P) Woohoo congrats! You're almost there! I have a BFA in Computer Animation but there's really not many animation-related (specifically 2D-drawing cartoon/anime) jobs in the tristate. Most are in California and Canada... I don't like graphic design either but I have to admit it's the only art-related thing here. My portfolio's no good either (triple whammy!!) At this point I'm just improving my craft, exploring more art options, and working on personal graphic novels/animation projects.

"I'm kind of shy in person but I seem more outgoing and open in writing." <---SAME SAME SAME!!! I'm kinda surprised just how outgoing I can be in writing as opposed to real life... that's just my life, I guess Btw, thanks for the add! So you're studying to become an RN? That's pretty awesome. You must have a pretty good work ethic for that. Unfortunately I chose the starving-artist life... hopefully it works out :)

Unfortunately i was stuck at the airport, how ever I got a really good view of the island as we wer landing.. also the airport itself was much bigger than I had expected it to be, so that was cool.
