Once in every five hundred years, the Shaman Fight Tournament is held, a battle between Shamans where the winner will be crowned Shaman King and granted the power to shape the world. The story follows Yoh Asakura, a care-free and lazy shaman who is isolated in their town due to his supernatural abilities.

Known for its Space Western theme, Trigun is about a man named "Vash the Stampede" and the two Bernardelli Insurance Society employees who follow him around in order to minimize the damages inevitably caused by his appearance. Most of the damage attributed to Vash is actually caused by bounty hunters in pursuit of the "60,000,000,000$$" (sixty billion "double dollars") bounty on Vash's head for the destruction of the city of July.

Beloved family, good friends, laughter and tears - these things make up the ordinary life of Kaname Madoka, a second year student of Mitakihara City Middle School. YuYu Hakusho follows Yusuke Urameshi, a street-brawling delinquent who, in an uncharacteristic act of altruism, is hit by a car and killed in an attempt to save a young boy by pushing him out of the way. His ghost is greeted by Botan, a woman who introduces herself as the pilot of the River Styx, who ferries souls to the Underworld where they may be judged for the afterlife.

When he holds a mysterious red book and chants a spell, a lightning attack comes forth. When this strange boy Gash arrives at his house, the life of lazy middle-schooler Kiyomaro Takamine is thrown into chaos!

This show is set at Honn0ji Academy, a fictional high school in post-apocalyptic Japan that is dominated by its fearsome student council, led by Satsuki Kiryuin. The council members wear special uniforms called Goku Uniforms that grant them superhuman abilities, which they use to oppress the rest of the school's students and staff.
