You're welcome Infinity, having made your acquaintance in the "Make Up A Lie..." thread, I thought it was half-past time to move above that...

Nah, it's all good. At least you replied. Many people never do >.>.... quite a problem on this site.
When I'm reading manga, sometimes I wish they could come up with something original. There are lots of times where people keep using some of the same tropes over and over again or referring to the same mythos. It can become stifling sometimes. That's why, when an original idea comes out, and it is executed really well, it tends to be a game changer.
Examples: Deathnote, Code Geass, Attack on Titan.
What I mean with the unoriginal ideas are stuff like Nantsu no Taizai or Ao no Exorcist. People like to keep reusing satan, exorcists, king arthur and the knights of the round table, and plenty of other old ideas and renew them. This has been an ongoing issue w/ movies as well. I don't know why but for a long time it seemed like all movies that came out or the majority of them were influenced by books or other such media. It's rare that we get an original movie.
I do get what you mean about rooting for the underdog, but the impact of the turnaround takes too long in my opinion.

Ah, I've read those. But I didn't finish either of them b/c they kind of stalled on their translation for a while, so when I came back to read it, I forgot a lot of the plot and who characters were or what abilities people possessed. Maybe one day I'll go back and re-read them from the beginning again. I was more interested in Sekirei b/c of the whole past secret thing. Magi seemed a bit complicated, so if I get to it, I get to it. The whole other world thing was confusing.
Oh I didn't know there was actually an ending to Kore wa Zombie desu ka. It reminded me too much of that one Magical Index manga, and the plot kind of never really resonated w/ me. I think for both of them it's because the guy is too weak.
The post-apocalyptic "thing" I read was a webtoon, called "Sweet Home". As for manga... hmm... I've recently read bio-meat: nector and I'm currently starting on green worldz. I did some research on some forums and those two were recommended, plus they're completely finished and translated to English.

Ah yea, I remember we had a discussion about that and thanks m8. Happy New Years to you also! The reason I brought it up was mainly b/c I started reading this webtoon called "Sweet Home" recommended to me by someone and it was a pretty interesting post-apocalyptic story. Do you read webtoons or manwha?

Yea, too bad you haven’t played them holmes. Have read or watched anything having to do with a post apocalyptic situation recently? I’ve been into that subject quite a bit lately.

We had a PS3 for the longest time too. I haven't been much of a gamer in a long time, so I'm not currently looking forward to any new games. The last games that I had been most interested in were Red Dead Redemption 2 and God of War. Have you played any Fire Emblem or Ni No Kuni before?

Back in the day, I always mixed up Trigun and Hellsing. I think it was all those red colors. And true, Trigun is quite interesting, I think I got quite into the manga. Not sure about the anime. But I don't think I ever finished it. Hero Academia rocked the shizzle this year and last. I had been following the manga for a bit before it came out as an anime. I think what really makes the anime top notch for me is the voice acting and music... dang the music. For me I'm currently just following "Slime Tensei" and "Goblin Slayer". I feel kind of sad sometimes when I've already read most of the popular manga before they become anime. B/c I already know what will happen and it makes the anime not as awesome to watch.
