I try to always keep this quote in the forefront of my mind...but sometimes it's not enough. *sighs* Maybe I should just stop trying? Maybe that's where my doubts and fears come from? From trying? I've always managed to be both my greatest ally and my greatest enemy. Just when I think I'm finally okay, my own consciousness comes through and tells me that it's all a lie. That the happiness I feel is a façade. Which sometimes isn't too far from the truth. I both believe in and deny the fact that God exists. Why? Because no matter what direction I take my life in, I always feel as if I'm a failure. Everyone that I've ever cared about has in one way or another left me behind. And thus I've spent the majority of my time alone. Such events in my life has caused me to love and hate people. My heart tells me that I should trust others, that I should offer them as much to them as possible. So time and time again my trust has been shattered, my heart and mind broken. If you're thinking that this is a reason to pity me...please don't. This just sort of acts as a mindless rant that I needed to get off of my chest. I doubt anyone will even bother to take a look at it. Which is fine with me. But if you did read it and you've made it this far, then I hope you're having a great day.
