I'm a very simple sort of girl if by 'simple' I really meant 'hopelessly complex and possibly capable of telepathy.' Haha, I am of course kidding-- I'm not that complex (I'll get back to you on the mind powers)! As it goes, I'm definitely a book nerd-- hopelessly into sci-fi and fantasy as a rule. I'm very particular, though and mostly enjoy obscure works like Johannes Cabal the Necromancer by Jonathan L. Howard (a MUST read). All the same, I love some more popular works-- the first few Harry Potter books (but there is a WHOLE rant about the flow of book 9 that doesn't need to be put here) and Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow but neither of their sequels. However, if you're a Twifan... I abhor Twilight (abstinence parable + funds a religion that hates on homosexuality a good portion of the time + I could write a better heroine/plot/male lead/anything = not my cup of expensive, snooty tea). Going on, I also love computers though I'm more of a software girl than a hardware-- I like my Mac and that it still works after I've dropped it a zillion times and spilled Sierra Mist on it. I do not know much about RAM or HGz or other capitalized things other than I apparently like having a lot of them. That said, I use a tablet and can get pretty awesome with the Photoshoppin' if you know what I mean (which you should... because it's awesome). I'm the sort of person that knows a little about a lot and a lot about-- uh. I'm sure some things other than how to use dashes as much as possible. Physically-- since I know even to geeks this counts to some extent-- I do have a lot to improve on and am improving as you read (a year or two ago I was over three hundred pounds and now I'm in the 230s range-- projecting 140 by next October). That said, I'm VERY big on healthy eating and at least some exercise and would love to meet people who are also 'calorie-counting' or at least know vegetables exist outside of pizza toppings. On top of that, I'm a vegetarian but not the sort to go PETA on anyone-- if you want to have a slab of raw bacon while I have artichoke hearts, all the more power to ya. Music tastes are important to me, by the by. I hate country-- cannot stand it-- but adore glamrock, softrock, techno, and all things alternative and pretty (and a few songs that can only be found by venturing into the bowels of the internet).
OKAY, but WHAT ABOUT THE ANIME? I know this is what everyone is interested in, sooo... I'll be honest! I don't watch too much anime, but I always love the stronger series when I get a chance to sit down. D.Gray-man is a personal favorite, and I love all the Miyazaki Movies as well as Perfect Blue and Paprika (so good). I like old school stuff like the real (aka not ruined by 4Kids or whatever) Sailor Moon and (okay, this isn't so old school) Tenshi ni Narumon. If you've ever even heard about that last one, I love you forever. Again, in the pursuit of honesty, I do adore 'yaoi' though I'm really not into the mainstream thing there, either. I like the concept of two guys and of 'fandom' bringing two set canon guys together in doujinshi and such if they both remain at all masculine and keep their original character (you don't know how much I hate how L is portrayed in 99 out of every 100 fanfics/fanart pieces/etc. for Death Note where he's involved with Raito. When did he become a nine year old girl?). As for cosplaying, I've never actually done it, but I'm super interested in maybe trying it out. I'm learning how to sew right now and wouldn't be above getting some tips on costuming!
To conclude, right now, I'm really interested in becoming an illustrator/writer/fashionista/circus freak. And that's about everything.
