so we got 2 lanterns 10 yrs ago when typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) happened..these lanterns were from Japan and were gifts from my uncle who is a ship captain there..just his way of saying thanks cause we took him and his fam in after typhoon.. it has been few years or so already and one of the lanterns got broken..my father tried fixing it but still didn't work..but since it has sentimental value to it, it is displayed in our house still along with other old stuff. when I came home, it was pretty late, everyone's sleeping, all lights off, and then I saw that the lantern is on..so I was like oh they must have fixed it already..so I went to check it and the turntable switch was on and I put it off..however I was like..why would they use this lantern to light up the house when there is no electricity interruption..but yea I was like meh prolly just testing it.. Days after my mom told me that when she and my father were working talking about some business matters in the morning, they noticed that the lantern was on..and they were also confused why..so again they noticed turntable switch was on, so they turned it left to turn it off..and then hours after they noticed that it was on again..Mom said that they didnt do anything to it. They stopped fixin it already and its weird how it lights up now.. Idk if there are some wirings inside that lantern that got fixed or whatever..but idk how the turntable switch moves by itself either..but anw just telling you the story hahaha (not the actual pic)
