That sounds kind of nice, aside from the -20 intelligence and lack of anime existence in any form. DANG....painful for the wallet. What kind of job is it that sent you there? I bet you'll REALLY be looking forward to experiencing a con again at that point. I get the feeling you've "lived" in Florida "many" times over. Wow, if you haven't been there already I imagine that would be something to look forward to. Kyoto maybe?

lol I'm still learning some patience myself. Yes I figured I would need A LOT of patience! XD I'm actually almost done with the program. I'm supposed to finish on the last day in July of this year.

The dog actually looks a bit like one of my own lol. Oh I sort of thought that was what you were meaning but I wasn't sure haha. Hey one never knows right? lol. I think it would be great to meet up with someone and enjoy a con together especially for someone's first con. I don't really have any friends near me either that are interested in anime though I have met one or two at a con by chance and started to become friends that way but not sure it really counts the same though I'm starting to try and go to some with some friends that live about an hour from me but last con we didn't really spend too much time together but what time we did spend was fun. But I've pretty much just been to cons with family or by myself. I'm kind of a loner myself unless I already know them (I'm more of a mix of loner, shy, and anti-social) but it is nice to go with people sometimes especially if it's your first con.

Yeah and something about the same name/word being able to be spelled with different characters that mean different things. I can only imagine the complications. I'd love to be able to visit Japan and Tokyo and so many places there. Samurai are also quite interesting. I agree, I love the shy manga and anime characters. Like Hinata from naruto and Nodaka from Negima. There's just something that pull you so strongly fromm them, they're so cute XD

Hey when I change countries again, and get a decent isp I wouldn't mimd helping ya with any translations through skype. And their alphabet is just memorization. Its their so many ways to draw their figures for words and some are so close in shape and form to one another that your brain just goes at one point ... " enough I'm out". And I love reading abt cultures so the japanese one is both alien and familiar. I know reading and living it are totally different because I've had the chance to live in many countries. But I would still cherish the idea And experience when the time comes to live it. Also I also like the hinata character a lot I think shy how chars in manga and anime a d games are the best.

Yeah we are in the same state though I don't know what area she lives in so I don't know which cons would be viable since there are cons over an hour away from me so its probably the same for her but she said she would like to go to a con but currently she can't finance it sadly. You don't have it with you? Darn....and here just last week I dropped my teleportation watch down the drain and haven't seen it since so I'm stuck in the water too... Hey that how I started trying to learn too lol. Actually most of my other language knowledge IS cursing lol. I know how to curse in English(um obviously?), Spanish, German, I did in Japanese at one point, and I also knew how to in Gaylic at one point. Watching subs is helping me learn slowly(very slowly) to speak Japanese. I believe kanji is even hard for Japanese too, maybe I'm mixing that up with them learning their entire alphabet instead. It does help to be able to hear and use it over and over. Learning Japanese would probably be one of the easiest second languages for me to learn because of my love of anime and through anime many things associated with it, Japanese culture, the sound of their language and music, just so much. With such love backing it, it can make learning easier. Though it would be easier to learn with auditory rather than from a book due to my difficulty with understanding grammer ^ ^; I know some words and I can sort of figure it out but that only goes so far.
