Yes, I can watch them without subtitles if I concentrate. It gets a little hard sometimes though, especially when they're talking really fast and crazy. The staff at craft stores are usually there because they have experience. No idea about what, the parallels? That's okay, a lot of people don't. The real Shinsengumi had a rather tragic ending, though, in which the government they swore to protect had them humiliated and executed, and the samurai's loss of power caused a huge culture shift which affects the Japanese to this day. The aliens in Gintama represent modern-day foreigners, different species referring to different nationalities (I think Americans were the dog aliens... not sure, though). I'm hoping to get a .22 handgun, either a Smith&Wesson type or a Walther.

I don't own one, but my mother does. I'm getting a gun and a license sometime next year, though, hopefully. The staff of the store you visit to get fabric from. I really enjoyed the parallel Gintama made to Japanese history. The story's setup was a metaphor for when Commodore Perry forced Japan to open its harbor to foreign (alien) merchants, which led to the cultural upheaval, the real-life Shinsengumi, and the real-life destruction of samurai and teh weapons ban. I really want to see Wara no Tate. It still hasn't hit the internet yet though. I might just buy the DVD once it leaves Japanese theaters. I haven't seen the new Spiderman either, but it's not on my agenda... I'm more hyped for the upcoming Thor and Avengers movies and Agents of SHEILD!

Oh, and yes, of course I watch Gintama! Off and on, though; I've kind of gone back and forth over the years between anime and live action, so I haven't exactly completed the series yet. It's on my bucket list though!

Hmm, next time you decide to make a cosplay and need to buy fabric, take a picture of the character with you and ask the staff for help. They probably wouldn't mind it; most of them are crafters and seamstresses themselves. I agree, it really is unfair, LOL. Well at least it's not boring XD It's daichi from devil survivor two, it a really easy to make, but I just could find the right fabric -_- that would be nice, but the next con isn't till next year XD. You certainly have a major advantage. That use to me, ceot it was limited to vocaloid songs XD those legs they have are unfair. It make every other unkorean girl looks so bad Is that so? I guess the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

HAHA No XD Just a bunch of very loud and obnoxious people blaring Metallica and Iron Maiden in front of the main building. You know, like adults. Which cosplay did you try doing? Maybe I could help you next time. I have the advantage of having a mother who taught me how to sew and embroider and an aunt who makes costumes for stage. GD&TOP are pretty awesome, but I guess it makes sense that you're more into the girl groups. XD I enjoy both. Music's an addiction in general for me. I've kind of gotten used to my sister being taller than me because all of my other siblings are, too. I simply keep in mind that shorter people have better balance. XP

What so blasting about it? Is there a pickachu there to blast you away? I tried making cosplay but it shouldn't be done by an amateur -_-. So I find it cool that people that can actually make cosplay and work so hard for just one event. Must be demoralizing that she taller than you @.@, and I don't even know g-dragon. Not into boy bands you know. Just those Korean girl XD
