Oh no worries, I understand >_< !! I haven't used AIM for that long either so it was a little confusing at first...there should be a plus sign symbol where if you click on it, it should say "add a buddy"...if you've already added my username to your buddy list, then all you have to do is click once on my name under your buddy list and then type something..if I'm offline, I'll get the message when I sign in =) I hope that helps >_<
