Real name is Patrick Gardner, just a depressed nerd trying attempting to alleviate that by making some friends. I enjoy a variety of shows ranging so I will list a few of my favorites of different genres and a quick quote about why I like them to give you an idea of what I am interested in. I know its going to be pretty full of popular opinions and I am welcome to recommendations you might believe are as good or better. Promise no spoilers
Favorite
shonen- Full Metal Alchemist, although demon Slayer is coming close both give me exactly what I want from shonen series.
Comedy- Konosuba "I'm not typing the entire name" Hilarious show about a bunch of loveable idiots in a fantasy world
Romance: Kaguya-Sama: Love is War, Ishigama
Emotional- A Silent Voice, as someone who was also an awkward depressed tall kid I relate to this movie so much it hurts to watch at times, always worth it in the end though.
Mecha- Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, so over the top that its impossible for my to be upset while watching this show. Something I re watch when going through tough times
Action- Attack on Titan, "I'm caught up with the manga so I know what most of what should be in the last season so I'll leave it at that."
Thriller Steins Gate- Fantastic characters and very compelling.
Honorable mentions include Jojos Bizzare adventure, O Maidans in your Savage Season, Hunter x Hunter, Food Wars, My Hero Academia, psycho pass, Anohana, Evengalion, Bungou Stray Dogs, and Avatar the Last Airbender " yes I consider it an Anime"
