some introductory animu(must watch if you haven't): amg, chobits, love hina, ranma 1/2, rurouni kenshin, fullmetal alchemist, elfen lied, suzumiya haruhi no yuutsu, neon genesis evangelion, school rumble, air, inuyasha some top-tier shit: DearS, black lagoon, tegami bachi, fullmetal panic, gurren lagann, gintama, air gear, tenjou tenge, high school of the dead, clannad, samurai champloo, first season of fairy tail, first season of sword art online, steins;gate currently airing: hunter x hunter, suisei no gargantia, shingeki no kyoujin(attack on titan) pretty nice list, if i say so myself. in fact, yeah, i think i'll be hitting some of these right now.
