Alice Academy The story takes places within a faraway country side in Japan where 10-year-old, Sakura Mikan, resides with her grandfather. Mikan grew up and was raised by her grandfather all alone and goes to a local elementary school in the neighbourhood.

The story is based around 11-year-old Saga Bergmann, a young girl in a small German town called Muhlenberg (based on real town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber). Saga lives with her grandmother Regina and works in a coffee shop when not in school.

The endless cycle of murders has been broken and Rika is finally able to settle down for a normal life with her friends. However, she is involved in a traffic accident and wakes up in a world where everything is different.

The story picks up after what happened in season one. Things that are left unexplained in the first season get explained in the new season in three separate arcs.

This includes Shugo Chara Dokki Doki and Shugo Chara Pucchi Puchi. With Easter out of the picture, Amu and her friends are left to handle elementary, and random x-egg sightings, and the horror of leaving only Yaya to handle the business of being a guardian.
