What podcasts are you listening to?

Name the podcasts you're listening to and give a description for others. I'm listening to Lore that tells a story about old stories that have helped shaped our understanding of the world around us and some of our beliefs. Things like witches, murderers, and spirits. It has a general creepy vibe and the narrator goes into quite the vivid description of some of the things that happened to bring the stories to life. http://www.lorepodcast.com/episodes I Also listen to Hello from the Magic Tavern. An improv comedy that focuses on three characters Arnie who fell through a magic portal behind a burger king into the Magic world of Foon and is trying to find a way home, Chunt a talking badger who is actually a shapeshifter, and Usidore the blue, a wizard who is on the quest to defeat the dark lord. Each episode usually interviews a guest from this weird world of magic and is just hilarious. https://hellofromthemagictavern.com/

I listen to the My Virgin Kitchen podcast, by Barry Lewis and his friends and family as they talk about food and move off into other random nonsense. https://soundcloud.com/myvirginkitchen

I listen to Cheapshow starring Paul Gannon and Eli Silverman who look at cheap tat, share wonderful life hacks, discuss old vinyls found in charity shops and make horribly immature jokes and are just generally mean to one another. Some others would be the whole Library of McElroy podcasts such as My Brother My Brother and Me, Adventure Zone and Sawbones

I updated my original post to include the links to the podcasts I listen to. Don't know why I didn't think of that when I originally wrote this. XP

I listened to "36 Questions" a while back. It's a podcast musical with the wonderful Jonathan Groff and Jessie Shelton. Really great if you are in the mood for romance: https://www.twoupproductions.com/shows/36questions

Well, I don't listen to podcasts as much anymore since my current workplace doesn't let me play any audio devices. But here's what I listened to to keep me occupied through my 10 hour work days at the gap. -Last podcast on the left: A dark comedy podcast about all things horror, both real and fictional. From conspiracies, to serial killers, and just about everything else. The comedy itself is rather hit or miss, but what really makes this one shine is the fact that one of the guys, Markus Parks, is am amazing researcher. Not for everyone, especially if you are easily offended, but if you can get past that, it's actually pretty entertaining. (And I'm not even a morbid person by nature. XD) -Abe Lincoln's Tophat: Same thing as the Last Podcast on the Left, with two of the same people, but geared towards politics instead. With one being a libertarian, and the other being an independent, you get a very fair and balanced perspective on our political climate. It's a little more serious than LPotL, but still pretty hilarious. -Expanded Perspectives: Since I'm into the occult, a lot of supernatural podcasts kinda feel like they're trying to overhype the "Mysteries" and whatnot. Subjecting superstition and biased beliefs into the mix. But for whatever reason, Expanded Perspectives really does a good job at keeping the conversation grounded. It's two Texan dudes who are surprisingly knowledgable and talk about a lot of subjects, from alternate history theories, cryptids, aliens, ghosts, strange phenomenons, parapsychology, lost treasures and cities, and all kinds of things that really do just make you rethink reality. And it feels in tone like you're sitting on the porch with your pals, having intellectual, yet funny conversations about very deep subjects. -Lore: Basically what Midas said up top. It's a story podcast that explores a variety of subjects. Very well narrated by an author, Aaron Mahnke, who really knows how to immerse you into the setting using a synergy of his voice and music. -1001 Heroes, Legends, Histories, and Mysteries: Another story podcast. These are short and sweet, hosted by an elderly gentleman by the name of Jon Hagadorn, who like lore, really knows how to put you in the story. However, unlike the above podcast, the reason Jon feels very immersive is that it feels like he was alive back in the days of his stories. In fact, for a lot of them, he was. ^__^ -Mating Grounds: I know what you're thinking. Why is an asexual listening to a podcast about getting laid? Well, this is surprisingly one of the better psychology podcasts out there. Even though it's geared toward single men, it offers a very intellectual understanding of evolutionary psychology, and WHY women tend to be attracted towards certain things. And it even approaches the topic in a very ethical "Treat her like a human, not like a condom" kinda way. This podcast actually isn't going on anymore, but I'm sure you can still find it on Itunes.
