No appetite

maxiishere
Hi, well I've lost my appetite completely. I'm hungry and can't wait to eat but when I see food, or looking for something to make I don't feel I want it. I'm a vegetarian since like 10 (?) years back, I have a "normal" body type, not over or underweight. I don't feel very well and I've heard that you lose you're appetite if you're depressed and sad. And I've been thinking a lot lately about maybe start eat meat again, Maybe I'm just so tired of the veggie food. That's not so much of this food I like so it's the same shit every time. I know it's easy to just "eat what you like" But I still live with my mom and we don't have that much money at all so it gets pretty expensive to buy different food. My mom's a veggie too and almost gluten intolerant so she have to buy her special pasta, milk and so on. And I'm pretty picky when it comes to food, unfortunately, I don't like it. So I can't force myself to eat something I don't like, It feels like I'm gonna throw up and my eyes gets teary and everything. Any good ideas about what I can do? Maybe some great recipe that doesn't include so much but is still good? I don't know. I'm just so tired about being hungry without appetite.

I lost appetite for over a week after an accident and trust me appetite comes with eating, your food may be the problem but after for than 5 days without eating you'll lose all your strength and energy but at least try to eat a Boost or Breakfast milk thingy if you have to

When I was on adoral, I needed to remember to eat. I was rarely hungry, and even when I was, I might have realized it, only to go back to working on my projects. Add to that, money is tight in my current situation, so the fridge isn't always stocked with two, sometimes three grown males living in the same house. So food was often times just not assessable, but that aside, the only solution I found that worked for me was to set a watch with three different times, and when the alarm went off, I would just eat something. If I wasn't too hungry, just a snack. If I was hungry, but too tunnel visioned on my work, I would meditate for about ten minutes in order to center my mind again, then just eat a quick meal. I'm back to normal weight now, even if I am tired of eating the same food options every day.

Yeah I guess there's always something to eat, like a fruit or something. It's better than nothing so I at leat have something in my stomach. I'm gonna buy some food bars so I can have a few snack times if I can't eat too much food. I'm really tired and have an awful headache, so I'm going to the store now ->

If youre not hungry, at least get some peanut butter in you for sustenance. It'll "fill you up", while giving you some protein to not feel weak. When you're not feeling weak, you'll slowly regain your hunger for actual food. Just dont fill up on empty snacks just to get something in your body. Peanut butter is the easiest, but as mentioned above, the boosts have the vitamins and shit in it to supplement the lack of eating temporally.

Lol I do study and I'm going to take a part time job after the winterbreak. So I'm already on it *thumb up* Ew I hate peanut butter xD But I bought some energy bars with little sugar and a lot of protein and vitamins that can help me if needed. I also bought some other things that's easy to eat so I hope it will be better soon. ^^
