Black swordsman training

If anyone has seen berserk you'll know guts swings a big sword and I have a 25 pound bench bar and my question is do you think swinging something like that would get you strong like guts in the swinging heavy swords way, or do you think it will only mess your arms up?

As someone who worked in a warehouse job and practiced some swordsmanship + Kenpo + Okanawa Karate, there are some forms of exercise and physical activity that do wear your muscles down over time. I was starting to get a bad back from lifting boxes of clothes up over my head constantly, even though that wasn't my job, and it was just because people were incapable of putting forth the slightest effort of cleaning up their own messes, no, I'm not salty, no idea what gave you that idea. >.> Anyways, I think swinging a bench bar is a bad idea, not because of what it will do to you, but because I've seen far too many of those things fly apart mid swing. Be careful.

Think about the force involved in that and how it'll be multiplied by moving the bar in that fashion. There's a reason no real sword is that heavy, it's just not useful and would cause the user way more trouble/potential injury than it's worth. Not to mention how cumbersome it'd be. More than likely you'd just tear a muscle.

I guess sticking with a short pole would be best
