What is the meaning of life?

Just an idea, but what if it is really a lot more simple than it seems? That is, the meaning of life, or why we are here? It seems simple, we are here to find our other half and love them. Nothing else feels so right, you can't even explain that feeling when you are in love...Greek myth says that humans had 4 arms, 4 legs, 2 heads, and 1 soul...people were happy, and life was great, everything was perfect, until the gods became jealous of people. The gods were always warring and fighting with each other, and they couldn't stand to see their creations so happy. So in his anger, Zeus threw down lighting bolts and split everyone in half, sending them flying far away from each other.After they were split, they never could feel right or whole until they could find that other half to complete them. Since then, all the souls could do was try to find their other half, and and to try to be complete. I don't know if I believe the lightning bolt part, but the rest sure makes sense. Deep down I think we all know we aren't really whole without that person, and without love. I know I am still looking. According to Benjamin Disraeli the meaning of life is: "We are all born for love. It is the principle of existence and it's only end." People come into existence because of love. Humans continue to seek love for the rest of their lives too-be it romantic, platonic or even self-love.

Meaning of life? Lets see if I could boil it down to three worlds. Expansion. Experience. Connection. Then again, its pretentious of me to make believe I have the answer any more than any other person, but at least in my quest, it always boils down to one of those three things.
