Improving yourself doesn't mean you're all of a sudden being fake don't do it for others do it for yourself refusing to change when you have clear and apparent flaws is just going to hurt yourself not saying to completely change your likes and dislikes nor change who you are deep down just improve upon yourself be more productive, get more involved in your hobbies, find new things you might enjoy, and if you date someone show them the things you like about yourself that you don't want to change as well as the things you don't like yourself that you want to change and as long as you make an effort both in self improvement and in your relationship things should go well

Okay what would you improve ? If you dress better ,eat better, exercise and get in shape , that’s no longer you. They will become interesting in the new body
