Tokyo Ghoul Anime Hate??

Lately, I've been seeing a lot of hate on the Anime of Tokyo Ghoul and I can't seem to understand why. Not specifically on here but just in general. I understand that things are a little sluggish and it kinda deviates from t he story in the Anime, but why do people hate this so much? Also, I see a lot of the people say things like "Parasyte The Maxim >>>> Tokyo Ghoul" but if you ask me, these two are probably the best Psychological and beautiful anime of 2014/2015....but I still constantly see people mindless throwing Parasyte over Tokyo Ghoul, saying how TG is overrated and blah blah blah :\

I for one love both shows but the reason it gets so much hate is because of the manga readers saying how much it skipped or that the characters feel bland but in truth the charcters are great i mean yes the manga is better, name an anime you loved which has a rubbish manga cant think of any myself but these fans of both shows remind me of the console wars middle age men who will argue over what they think is better and in my opinion tokyo ghoul is great i love it to death

Tell me about it...any kind of stupid fanwar between consoles or games or just in general is pointless, saying crap like "XBOX ONE > PS4" or "PS has blah blah blah better graphics blah blah blah better and more games blah blah blah Xbox One is shit blah blah blah" or "PC MASTER RACE"....I wish people could just enjoy what games they want and either agree to disagree or to just keep their opinions to themselves....oh, and I 100% agree with you on Tokyo Ghoul :P

People are bored so they need something to do. I guess complaining about it is that something. I'm reading the manga and watching the show. I like both of them, but I like the manga more just because it has more information.

I watched a few episodes and didn't really enjoy it at all. From what I understand the plot tries to be relatable and deep but I really couldn't take it seriously.... then again, I have little patience these days and I stopped watching abruptly, may give it another go sometime

Tokyo ghoul is my jam I don't even care. Everyone in the fandom is basically just pissed off about how they changed so much and left out so much character development/ plot. Like the manga was 100x better tbh. But I love the animation , as a manga reader, it's like eye candy I suppose.

^I agree. Manga will always have more information in it because of the amount of work that is put into it. Its a lot easier to draw a single still image than to draw several for animation. Plus you have all the voice actors to hire, producers, sound effects, etc etc. All that costs money and if it doesn't sell then its not profitable and not worth the time. I think that's why they rush through the story in anime because they want people to be hooked right away by the action and not so much the story itself. Hopefully that makes sense.
