What is Your definition of "Love"

Love is caring more about the happiness of another person than you do about your own happiness. It is knowing the flaws and imperfections of that person and accepting them as part of that person and not caring any less about them for it. It is being willing to do whatever it takes to work out difficulties with them. Being willing to apologize when you're not wrong and to sacrifice so that they do not have to. Love is wanting to experience and share your life with another person. Sometimes love even means preferring that the other person be happy without you than unhappy with you. And that one hurts the most. Love is no mere chain of chemical reactions and it can be both the most wonderful and the most cruel experience of ones life. Love can conquer pretty much anything.. but that doesn't mean that it WILL. And some people are capable of more love.. or different types of love than others. For instance, I love the way an animal does... unconditionally.. while some require near perfection from their loved one. It isn't the same for everyone.. but it's always an incredible thing.

Love, such a simple word, yet when we're asked to define it, it seems impossible. Love to me is what makes humans... well, human! It's when we make that decision that something/someone must be protected, when we feel the most joy. Love is what gives us humaness
