i watch a lot of amvs of my favourite animes does anyone else and if so what ones i love the toradora amvs my fav is a thousand miles

i like the Hero-Ah! My Goddess AMV that's an old one tho Macarena-no-jutsu was a good one Accidentally In Love - Rurouni Kenshin was rly good i used to have one a long time ago that was We Were Meant to Live-Gunslinger Girl and then of course there are the AMV Hells

The one AMV that really struck me hard was one using 5 Centimeters Per Second with Jason Walker's "Down" Basically the only AMV that came close to moving me (and also got me to buy the DVD) Nowadays I'm not sure if they're just too much of the same content being used, if the music today isn't powerful enough to deliver the message the author is trying to express, or if it's desensitized of so many AMVs over the years.... Or if it's all about the comedy category now. (in contests at the least)

I think it's mostly that music today is less of a message or story than it is just beats and words many classic songs work best for AMVs because they still have that element of reason and purpose that a lot of today's music doesn't

i like it when the amv and the song work together to tell the story thats why i like the toradora or angel beats amvs

My favs are Broly with 5FDP The Way Of The Fists, One Piece With Raunchy A Heavy Burden, and Berserk with Iced Earth My Own Savior.

Been a fan of AMVs for... a long, long time. XD One of my all time favorites--a classic, really--is still Elizabeth Kirkindall's "Crazy-Ass Violence" set to L.L. Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out".
