Pc building, anyone else out there?

I got out with an associates and im working as an engineer doing everything from CAD, circuit design and programming. My company doesnt care about degrees.

Ya lucky then. Ours don't really care about that they more care how much they would have to pay u... so the higher education u the more they "should" pay u so its actually harder to find a job with higher education, such stupidity.

College nowadays dont do much for u, with the way you can learn anything on youtube college is a waste of money... In my opinion but everyones entitled to their own opinions

Mhm, college is good for law and other fields I can't think off, the only college I would like is fullsail university for digital graphics design but damn is it expensive...

If u going to universty i think its worth it ya know. Well idk im still gona go for uni at least that's something i whana accomplish hah

@blackheart Yeah but I dont have the money, its over 700 a month and my parents lost their buisness so I help them out as much as I can atm

Degrees are just papers that prove that you at least know the basics on the subject. You don't want to get any bum off the street stating that they're a self taught civil engineer and build a skyscraper. You also don't want a self taught surgeon doing open heart surgery without going to college, then medical school, and other further training that they need. They're rules and regulations against duncical people getting involved in things that they should have no business in without the proper training and education. Specially when peoples lives are in the mix. Your ass will get sued real quick. Though I will say that most jobs shouldn't require a degree, but for whatever dumb reason still do.

Elon Musk even supports the notion that if you can do the job, you get the job. I understand the sentiment but the school system is flawed and a scam in its current implementation.
