My problem with Sakura from the Naruto anime was that she was always trying to play catch up with Naruto and Sasuke. She could have basically been cut from the anime or replaced with anyone else and it wouldn't have mattered. At the same time though there would be entire episodes dedicated to her mental struggle with being weak or trying to figure out her feelings for Sasuke... The anime made it really hard to care, shit is happening and you are going to dump this crap on me now... wtf. I like here role much better in the Boruto anime. Off screen like most everyone else irrelevant to the plot. Edit: Short version- she is basically irrelevant to the plot stop treating her like an mc.
