I'm into stuff like Gwar, Children of Bodom, SkeletonWitch, and Dying Fetus. There's lots of stuff I like.

Same i'm more of Meoldic Metal guy. I prefer riffing, melodies, and solo's over heaviness anyday.

hey... while at one point in time i listened to soilwork, scar symmetry, in flames and children of bodom, i prefer something a little different now:
therion, opeth, tesseract, katatonia, communic, anubis gate, mercenary, voyager, devin townsend, etc.
iced earth still gets played a little bit, though. that's why i left them out.

I actually love Blood Stain Child. I also like Maximum the Hormone and SoundWitch. I am very open to trying new bands especially bands similar to Blood Stain Child because I like Blood Stain Child quite a bit.

@Terumi: That's what I like about Children of Bodom. They're a good mixture of both heavy and melodic.
@goyaku,tabun: In Flames in Opeth are pretty good. Thanks for the list.
@crimsonarmageddon: I can't remember the last time I heard Maximum the Hormone but I remember thinking that they were the first Japanese metal group I heard that didn't sound like a pop band. So that was refreshing.
