Anyone from Minnesota?

Do you go with friends or family when you go to cons? I drag my at least one of my brothers with me most of the time. It makes splitting room costs so much better. XD

I hope Vic makes it back to a MN con again, I think AniMinneapolis was his first MN convention... I'm glad that Todd and Sonny keep on coming back! I would like to see Johnny Yong Bosch and Crispin Freeman in MN. Only one of my friends goes to cons, and since she lives close to the convention hotels, I don't share a room with her unless we go out of state. We are going to ACen next week. I'm super excited!

Johnny Yong Bosch is good. I saw him at Anime Iowa. If he would ever come to MN, they should invite his band Eyeshine too. So you're going to ACen? I'm so jealous! I've wanted to go there for a few years now.

I saw Johnny in passing at ACen last year. His band had a booth in the exhibit hall, I wanted to go to his panels and his bands shows, but they were always during other panels and events I wanted to go to. I was usually standing in line for something I really wanted to see while his stuff was going on. >_> My friend went to most of his stuff, and she told me how awesome it was. I highly recommend going to ACen! This might be my last year going though, since I would like to go to Otakon or Anime Expo next year. My friend wants us to try to go to Japan next year, but I don't think I'll get the money saved up in time, so a different big con would be doable for '14.
