I think if I were to do any kind of military, I'd rather be in the air force. I have a friend whose brother joined the army after high school. He's kinda regretting it now just because of the kinds of people he's around all the time there. I suppose like the level of immaturity and whatnot. But then again, he's only been there like... 2 years? something like that

@mike Did you do an early enlistment? I thought you had to be at least 18 and have a high school diploma or ged minimum to join the armed forces. @xueli the airforce is nice, my cousin joined and earned his A&Ps there so he is qualified to fix air planes.

@riffaffray I was thinking about trying to get into the air force as a physical therapist but supposedly US Army baylor only has like 2 seats open each class, then 2 for the navy. Everyone else goes to the army :/

If you are pursuing a job in the Criminal Justice field, shoot as high as you can go. It will pretty much be the same amount of work unless you get a federal job. IBRs are annoying to fill out. Both fields can give you PTSD very easily, you will see things differently, all that stuff. I'm personally going for a federal job, because I can't really see my self doing a pursing a different career.

@xueli, wow thats kinda tough. I would figure the airforce needs some physical therapists no? if i ended up joining any armed forces they'd end up putting me as an aircraft mechanic. That's what they value me as at anyways :x

If art wasn't my major, i'd probably be a lawyer. i would just be so good at it and i'm infatuated with the law

I'm taking Homeland Security and Computer Programming to become a Corporate IT. Military. . . heck no. I have a geeky russian friend who used to be an army engineer in the U.S. Army. Told me I'd never make it.
