car guy

ok so on top of being an otaku im also a wicked car guy.... been working on and modify cars all my life and thats wat my profession...... the reason for this post is i was wondering if there was any others on this site that are also car people or if you hav a hobby that differs from wat you would consider otaku???? (i also love to cook) :)

I'm just barely getting into car tuning. I'm just an amateur for now but when I can I would like to devote more time and money into it. I've only installed a new suspension system, lowered it by 1", I have a GT SPEC strut bar I just finished painting and gonna install it sometime soon. I been looking around for a Vibrant exhaust. I need to find one for a sedan. I'm looking at some short air rams and might go with a Takeda one. Other then that I only painted my rims gold (it was a bitch by-the-way) Upgraded the OEM headlight assembly to OEM HID, got an open type grille but need to paint it. I would really like to hunt down the AWD parts from the Axela (the JPN name) and maybe do a RHD swap and put in a 6 gear transmission. But that would be a dream. Like I said, I'm just a novice. Maybe someday over time I would be able to. I'm just glad my Mazda is still runnin'. i love cars.......... the car i own right now is the first car (1991 toyota celica GT) i bought with my own money......... she just hit 258,500 miles this week and she drives better than most cars ive driven with half the miles

Yuusaku: thats awesome.... i havent had the money to any thing like that to my car yet but she has some other stuff started in it (lot of stuff started, nothing really finished)..... i would post pics of my car but i dont know how to on the forums :)

I work as a sound engineer by trade so a lot of music production takes up my time. Also live concerts so I end up doing a lot of manual labor which I suppose is considered unusual for anime fans. I bake like a fiend, cakes, cookies, cupcakes, bread, basically whatever counts as a dessert that features an oven in it's making process. I also like sports and rock climbing and stuff. :P
