I read that article is actually sound advice. I remember posting similar advice to that although different words some months back. I completely agree. Is definitely like that in the business world. You don't even have to be somebody important as long as you look the part people Will flock to you. I remember attending an event with the company I work for. For the longest time there was this blonde attached to our table. I take it, since I was the only single guy from our group she wanted to make a lasting connection. Many times where you work can give you prestige. I guess is all I am saying for my example.

I actually try and read that article every night now.
I don't think it's about looking a part the article is not trying to tell you to look good, it's saying you have to have skills as Neapolitan Dynamite said "girls only want a guy with awesome skills" I think the article was saying that all through out life girls, work, anything you are going to need to give people something to be worth anything. You can be the nicest guy in the world and still not mean anything to anyone because you don't do anything, but you can be the biggest asshole in the world and be very skilled at something useful and people will still like you because you do something useful. Look at all the great people out there, all the people people look up to, people don't look up to them because they are nice sweet guys/girls that can add to what they have, but they are looked up to because they do something no one else or very few people can do well.
moral of the story I'll speak for my self here I need to get better, make my self great at something and get more useful skills. I need to make my self better, and I plan on it.

maybe I didn't explain my self well enough. I am not saying that the article is about looking good. What I wanted you to take from my example is that where you work matters. A companies prestige can be to your advantage. Because it is understood that to be able to work there you must have some commendable skill. Basically is like bragging without actually saying anything just by telling someone where you work.
For example: is not the same if I told a girl I work at mcdonalds as oppose to I work For the government. It may not be about money but a girl needs to know she has a safe future with you. Unless she has a career that could take care of both of you which does happen.

I see what you're saying Knight.
As for sand man are any of those things impressive to you? Would you say the level you are at with those skills would be impressive/useful to other people?
