I think you just need to give it some time, and try to be open minded. You're still young, and you're a nice gal. You'll find someone. In my experience, you should never try and rush these kinds of relationships. It might take months or years of getting to know someone before you figure out if you love them

Most would rather be liked for their personality than be a yes man and only liked cuz you boost someone elses ego. I hate girls like that, have a goddamn personality. Dont be interested in what i like cuz ur scared i wont like you if you dont. If it wasnt meant to be it just isnt. It gets boring hearing a girl go "oh you love that me too" to literally everything i like then not know shit about it. Or hear them say i want to get into that when they know damn well they dont. Be yourself, you are 1000 times better than a yes man. If you have trouble finding people even then improve just a bit but never stray from your roots

Since life exists, human have been constantly adapting to be more efficient to survive, those who didn't do that couldn't give their DNA to the next generation and ceased to exist. So technically you are someone else if you are constantly improving. Being yourself is just another way to say " stay where you are"

Yeah every action you do in life is a change or improvement. You can be yourself just dont be stationary. Dont refuse to grow. What im trying to say by being yourself is dont go from a nerdy anime watching gamer to someone who doesnt know what that stuff is. That isnt you, if you dont feel happy doing something its most likely cuz it isnt you. Even dating creates character development. You can better yourself from past relationships just dont stay stuck in a mindset that you cant change

Alright I agree, you guys are right ( depending on the meaning of being yourself. ) However you guys have to admit that "just being yourself ,don't waste your time and just let fate decide" is a terrible advice to give anyone.
