What's the weirdest/craziest Japanese movie you've ever watched?

Recently finished Thirst. Some pretty crazy shit

Love Exposure. It's almost 5 hours long and laden with religious, sexual and moral commentary. It's completely worth a watch, though, if you can find the time. I mean, it's not every day you see a film where the main character is training to be the ultimate panty-photographer, and where a psychopathic schoolgirl cuts a guys junk off with a pair of scissors

I looked it up and seems interesting. I'll try to find the time to watch it soon. That last part made me cringe though. Makes me think of the monkey wrench scene from I Saw the Devil.

They're probably not as weird as the other examples (haven't read most of the comments), but Kung fu Hustle is crazy. Also some live-action Liar Game a friend wanted me to watch with him was insane. There was a scene where they played russian roulette with a 18-cylinder gun and a guy was totally winning and his opponent screamed (with the screen shaking and all). One of the guy's team members screamed too and he started dancing on the table. Paprika comes to mind too, probably the craziest thing I watched. It was a beautiful sort of crazy though.

I watched Kung Fu Hustle and it's hilarious. Shaolin soccer is another crazy one you might want to watch if you haven't already. Paprika is a great one and I'm a big fan of Satoshi Kon.

^noodle, that sounds like something I must watch! Actually, I'll watch anything with psychopathic schoolgirls!

I have to say the essence that is life trying to overlay other fictional worlds over yours.
