Anyone going or went to Japan?

@Raven - Lol no deal. I took Air China. The downside to the cheap price is that the flight is unnecessarily longer, so if your vacation is a short one, I recommend just forking over the extra cash to knock down the flight time to only in between 10-14 hours instead of 17-27 hours. @Crimson - I only went to the major tourist spots like Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka and yes they were very accommodating. It was a very enlightening experience.

I've done a lot of what there is to do. Spent days in akihabara, wandered through nature, ate hundreds of sushi pieces, took classes, develoepd a crush on a girl, bought hentai, went to clubs in shibuya, ate gross food, ate DELICIOUS food, went to tokyo disney sea, stumbled onto a pokemon center in osaka, pet some cats, saw anime films in theaters and on tv as they aired you name it

Been with my Dad to Tokyo when he went for a business trip (I just tagged along). I was hangin' out in Akiba most of the time and my Dad thought I was weird. Whatevers... was worth it.

Yeah. even though I'm not an Otaku and just a basic anime fan, I couldn't help but get a big goofy smile on my face when I went to Akihabara :D

In two years I want to study in Japan, in the Erasmus Mundus program. I hope I can.

I lived in Japan for 2 years while I was in the Air Force. I actually was a radio DJ there. It was in a suburb in western Tokyo. Yokota Airbase. It was amazing. Spent many a weekend roaming Tokyo. Climbed Fuji twice, also.
