Thoughts on advancement of technology

I guess because of certain aspects of my life i have the mind set of "when" not "if", it is better to prepare for the bad then try and keep it from happening again once it happens

I understand your fear towards it think of it this way what if somebody developed a weapon that could scar the world entirely and used it that would be true to your fear however it is the one behind the tech that i fear and i think should be looked on more upon closer inspection we are naturally always seeking power and to advance however our primal instincts make us want to step on others or not care what others think to do so when it comes down to it not many will sacrifice theirselves for others in the end not without it benefiting them

Well regardless i see your point however then what we need is technology to enforce the technology that is developed for we as a species cannot be trusted then if we might do something bad with it and therefore need to be working on tech that enforces moral standards of right and wrong completely fairly without putting their selves in it

metal.... that is the kind of tech that never needs to be built im pretty sure that that is the tech that phoenix fears the first thing that that statement reminds me is Skynet and we all know how that end i hope now i feel like i need to say that i am all for the advancement of technology and science :)

The kind of tech you were referring too actually is kinda a existant only in movies you need to learn that in real ai this is impossible for them to that almost unless they develop human emotions that would not happen you would have to give them human emotions for something like that to happen however i understand your fear in it though but this technology is one of the very few real and true solutions to a better world and society the others are more wrong in their attempts this one is peaceful in the end ai doesnt do that in real life unless you make it do that by giving it emotions though those are movie cliches

i thought something like that might be said and you guys have been talking bout some pretty advanced tech, but in my opinion society problems should be left to society.... the problem is society has a lot of problems and the people trying to solve these problems (politicians) are a bunch of idiots with no doubts at what they are saying. and i just went off on a rant :) i didnt mean to make movie cliches but that was the best way to say wat i wanted to say.... i just dont think it is right to use computers to enforce any thing

I dont mean computers lol and i understand your rants and everything fire my problem is that we as a species have demonstrated through many ways that we cant handle ourselves we constantly harm each other and use each other politicians as you said do this all the time why because they have emotions and therefor like themselves and have idealism there is a reason for why they dont help machines do not have that which gives it emotions

i said computers in a broad sense :) how can i put this.... the way i see it is your almost talking about a perfect society, right??? broad view again :)

No i dont want perfection it is a flaw and wrong in all sense to have it people are not ready for it having peace is not the same as perfection their is a difference in the meaning and very big line between it being perfect means not having errors whatso ever this is what would stop us and make it where we could not take the perfection
