It's how it is. The reason you see so many brown people becoming doctors, engineers and working in I.T, is because we can't really afford to have dreams. Many people think it's our parents that push us but that's not the case. We don't have other options. So we just go for what pays good money.

@amir_bahram I hear you, man. I mean it happens here too. Lots of kids get pushed or don't have options. Dreams get shredded early and people get into debt over education. Like it's a real messed up system.
Nothing wrong going into debt if you going into the right field. Might as well be for engineering or to become a doctor. It's one of the best paying jobs. Unless you're getting a degree in a STEM field. From an economic perspective. Most other degrees are worthless.
@kuharido I don't know if I'd like being a doctor. Study day to night till I'm a middle aged man. Then work a job I don't like 8 hours a day. After I'm 17, it'll just be me and books. All of my friends who are way smarter than me are failing Med school. This is stressful.
Shouldn't we encourage kids to find a vocation rather than squeezing them into a template?
