Writers block

I been having a issue trying to come up with a new poem it's a rare thing to happen to me cause writing a poems comes easy. I have no idea what's going on I try to think of something and nothing comes up. I guess it can be work or school or both at the same time but still no idea at all? Most of my poems are dark or about sadness/pain maybe I should try to write about happiness. Idk anyone have this issue before and what did you do to help/stop it?

That is my way i have a very creative mind so i tend to just form it quite fast anyways what you should do is try to put yourself in a enviroment you feel peace at and then meditate if you can if not just relax and let your mind be creative also it helps to try not get mad or fustrated when it happens as well im a fanfic and story writer so I know how it feels

most the times i write my best work i am in my room listening to music and my mind is wondering. Sometime i am thinking of something and my mind takes off on it that is when i do more book style writing. For poems it just comes more out of nowhere but has a connection to me.

I get writer and artist block frequently. It seems the best time for me to do work is when I can't sleep or I'm up late just thinking, then I get inspired and go for it (sometimes at like 5 am). Otherwise I have to take my mind off of everything (go to a park or waterfront and just walk and look at my surroundings and take in the scents and sounds) or just search around for inspiration. A project I recently had to do for textile design (florals) was inspired by looking ways to design flowers in Adobe Illustrator, found one that looked like origami, and ended up making it kinda like a scattered stained glass effect, which works with my theme.

I go outside and write under my willow tree or on my roof to watch the stars. It's easy to write about sadness and pain because I know the two very well. I'm a happy person but with a sad past.

I'm also inspired moreso when I'm upset or depressed when it comes to writing, since I've ended up doing poetry more when I feel like it. It's good to do some writing out of your element, though.

I get my idea's form my life,movies,music,and the area around me. I haven't been having a issue with it now. I just got done on one I been working on for 2 hours
