With the original organizer of the election gone. This is the final nail in the coffin for the Civil War.
We've exhausted all our resources. The super soldiers Amir stole actually have a finite lifespan, we never got the science quite right, they go through cellular breakdown and die quickly.
Most of the big names have died. Most of my forces are gone. Both sides supplies are exhausted. The MO government was on shaky ground from the beginning as I poisoned Barky by putting cyanide in his breakfast bratwurst and bier. Knocking him out of the election.
Amir was never actually eligible for vice president as he never made the speech but he threatened Gab to get on the ticket over my vp choice.
I already freed the gulag prisoners and ended the mass murders.
Now the MO government is dead and MO is a lawless land once again. Both factions are effectively dead. Amir can keep the title for it means nothing.
End results: both sides have destroyed each other. MO is lawless again. Lamby ascends back into Heaven to come down as she pleases.
The second MO war comes to an end. Peace has returned.

And so, by the end of the 5th day of the New Year, 2021 AD, the 2nd Great MO War concluded.

The end result was a military stalemate with heavy casualties inflicted upon both sides in terms of manpower and resources. No side was willing to accept defeat, but their capacity to carry on the war was depleted. With irreconcilable differences, the Republic of MO suffered a war-ravaged break-up like Yugoslavia 30 years before it. The short-lived state broke into many smaller ones Though two of the broken states remained dominant.

Ghost and the rebels retreated to the West to build up a new state among the ruins of the Republic of MO's gambling-hub. This new separatist government would be distinct from the one it broke away from. Ghost was uninterested in ruling and fighting decided to travel the wastes for the time being, hoping to find new adventures that way. Snake, who lost his life during the conflict was brought back a second time, this time by yours truly (Beherit) who took pity on his loss albeit with a payoff.

President Amir on the the other hand still proclaimed himself the legitimate President of MO and insisted the state still existed and the forces loyal to him were the legitimate continuation of the fallen republic's government. However, he and his forces only maintain effective control over the former Republic of MO's war-torn capital, its adjacent areas and a few military installations throughout the former republic.

With resources gone, moral devastated, countries divided, and bridges burned the one lessen that could be learned from the Second Great MO War was one learned from the others before it. The lesson is that war... war never changes...
