Hype house and attractive guys on TikTok are proof attractive men get the exact same benefit of having people flock to them even if all they have to offer are a pretty face/body and shitty TikTok dances. Besides, if your art is liked by people, you will get likes even if you are considered hideous by society's standards. There's plenty of artistic content on YouTube where the artists never even show their face that get millions of views. Most of the artists I follow on instagram (some of which have hundreds of thousands of followers) I don't have a clue what they look like. The fact is, all beauty can do for you as an artist is give you a boost in popularity. when you're starting out Being unattractive doesn't mean your art won't be appreciated. Creating art that people can't connect to/aren't interested in does. May be a harsh pill to swallow but it is what it is.

If creating uninteresting art means you'll be ignored , then that. Girl's art shouldn't have many likes. But look at our examples we did more effort. I did mine in a week,on and off. It has composition, color, a full rendering. It's fanart of one of the most popular games, league of legends. So how can it not connect to people? Just Google yasuuo memes and you'll see how popular he is. How. Much appreciation did I get? 16 likes compared to that girl who isn't even that pretty. Effortless drawings. And look at the 2nd examples it's just a dude pretending to be a girl.

People aren’t giving her likes for her art, my guy. But because they think she’s pretty. Do you really want a bunch of horny dudes giving you likes because they frequent your selfies to jerk off? Just because something is a fanart of a popular series, doesn’t mean it will connect to a lot of people/be well liked. The concept and execution matter. Also, if likes are the reason you’re drawing, you’re already doing it wrong.

1: My point is it’s not because it’s a chick but because she’s attractive. Attractive men have it equally as easy to garner initial attention via their looks. 2: LMAO. Nobody “deserves” attention. This entitlement is what got him into this dilemma in the first place. If he just enjoyed drawing instead of obsessing over likes he wouldn’t feel this blue over it. 3: That last sentence didn’t make any sense semantically. Not dissing you or anything but I just genuinely don’t understand what you’re trying to say. 4: He is getting support. Not as much as the girls deploying their looks to get more appreciation but he still gets appreciated. Just not enough for his liking.

1: How are women responsible for this? Men usually have very low expectations on those apps. Especially when they’re just looking to hook up (which many of them are). 2: If you think he deserves attention for his art, give him attention. I personally don’t think any action deserves attention inherently. There are actions that grab my personal attention, but even those actions don’t inherently deserve it. 3: It really wasn’t. 4: It’s not easier to get appreciation if you’re female. That’s the thing. It’s only easier if you’re an attractive female. Similarly, it’s easier for attractive males to get more attention than for unattractive females.

1: that’s a depressing way to look at life. 2: Well I didn’t know as his main concerns seem to be likes on his Facebook. Which I am not able to just know that you follow. 3: What do you mean by relying art? Did you mean relaying? 4: Well, then do it. If you think the system is so skewed in favor of females, pretend to be one. And see your popularity reach a plateau pretty quickly.

1: I‘d rather not. I prefer my mental health to be stable. 2: Thanks :) 3: Ok, that makes more sense then. But they’re not popular for their art. They’re popular for being pretty. Do you think OP wants people to like him got his art? Or his looks? 4: Then why are you complaining? This perceived skewdness is beneficial to uni if you exploit it ;)

i dont see how shes wrong tbh? i mean what people draw is based on their own preference. it has nothing to do with being sexist or anything like that. you cant just say: "oh you drew a naked female, you're sexist..." like bruh... cant you see how stupid that sounds? 1. its a drawing and its fake... learn to tell the difference between fiction and real life. 2. we all have freedom of speech... dont take away people's right to express themselves. if i wanna draw a naked girl, who the fuck cares? im not hurting anyone... so all in all, i disagree...
