Xeno Origin: Greek. Meaning: Stranger; Foreigner; Guest. Within the world his story takes place in, Xeno is a anomaly amongst mages. Even with almost no memory of his past (due to the circumstances of his summoning), he still exels at magic and his potential is limitless.

So "Knight & Mage" started as a video game concept inspired by the Megaman Series (mainly the X games). Though instead of being set in a future robot blasting setting, its set in a fantasy magic blasting setting. Now being repurposed for a story instead. - Xeno is a Mage that fights with magic (proficient in Mid to Long range) (inspired by Megaman X) - Cahira is a Knight that fights with a sword (proficient in Short to Mid range) (inspired by Zero) - As each boss is taken down, Xeno learns a new magic spell and Cahira learns new combat techniques Plot was that the Main Antagonist, The Magus (Final Boss) attacked the Magic Kingdom with his Warlords (The 8 Bosses) and started an all-out war. So how things are in this world is that Knights and Mages are partnered up thru a summoning and so one of the Protagonist, Cahira, summons her partner, Xeno, but since there is an ongoing attack the summoning goes wrong and Xeno is summoned on the other side of the frontlines. Thereby leading to the first chapter (or Level lol). After that, the story starts and they both have to fight each of the 8 Warlords to reach The Magus. also because of the terrible conditions regarding his summoning, Xeno has amnesia (which is tied to the plot)
