What do humans do with the local fauna? They usually eat it. There are plenty of iguanas in my coastal region. This is an iguana broth. The dish is a bit uncommon but not completely uncommon for my coastal region. The local saying is that its supposedly really good for your health. Camarones a la diabla (devieled shrimp). As each region has slightly different variation to the dish. I can only speak to my regional variation. The shrimp are really spicy. Hence the name deviled shrimp. Served with tostadas and never tortillas. Also served with regional authentic white rice.
