I'm a Baptist Christian, and I believe God truly is the only way, but I can't stand most of the other people from my own religion. They are so closed-minded, hypocritical and forceful. They end up pushing people away from the true path and giving our religion a bad hateful name. I AM A CHRISTIAN! AND I DON'T THINK EVIL OF EVERYTHING, I DON'T HATE GAYS, AND I BELIEVE WE CAN ONLY EXPERIENCE TRUE PEACE IF WE ACCEPT EVERYONE FOR WHO THEY ARE! This is how a REAL Christian should be. Glory to God in the highest and peace unto men!

Its a great thing we have some people like you. I take the scientific approach: If no proof is available to prove X hypothesis, then the null must be accepted.

It's not proof but I have a theory. We know the Big Bang Theory, how everything was compacted in an area the size of an atom. But how did that atom get there? Now I know most people can say "Well how did God get there?" That argument definitely works for both sides. BUT the reason I believe it was God that came first was because of one thing. Either God or the particle was there first. As the only thing in the universe they were the only variables in each theory. We all know that for something to change, something has to act on it. If the non-sentient atom is the only variable, then there is nothing to act on it. But God IS sentient, and therefore can cause change to occur on his own. So out of the two theories I believe God is the most sensible answer, because only a sentient being can change on it's own, without reacting to another variable. For the particle that has always been there, to suddenly burst after an unlimited amount of time of being stable without reacting to a stimulus is impossible.

@blackfressia haha most of my family are Southern Baptist Republicans so i know what you are feeling. I love them to death, they are great people and family. But i know how they can be sometimes, i really have to pick and choice my words carefully. Over the years i have grown a bad relationship with god. Maybe the strong belief i had in combination with a life hardship was not a good mix.

God gave humans (not you specifically) everything we need to live. If things go wrong, it's something we as humans have brought upon ourselves as a whole. Someone has to get the bad end of the stick, and being Christian isn't enough for God to spare us unpleasentries. Don't ever blame God for the horrible things in this world. The corrupted minds of our own race has done this to ourselves. This is our sin. The real test is showing you are above that sin, and can still hold your own and trust in the greater good even when all is stacked against you. Trust God and Jesus, even if what is happening isn't good for you, it's making someone else's life better. It's all part of the master plan.

I'm just going to step out while this is civil. I have a strong dislike for organized religion but many of my friends are religious so I respect them, they respect me. As far as your faith goes, you're entitled to your beliefs. I am entitled to have different ones. Thats it.

That's what I mentioned earlier. This is what I believe, and Christians should accept everyone no matter what they believe. I can assure this wouldn't turn into an argument, as I hate arguing. But I do believe it's healthy to converse about religion. It opens you up to new ideas and an improved understanding of world culture.

Understand this i more strength than most. But my strength, it not given to me by God. It was formed from pain and hardship. i did not get it from praying to God for strength or hoping he would give it to me. I got it from realizing my strength is what will get me through hardship and to move on on my own strength.

Alright I'm hearing alot of good answers here, but let's put religion aside for a moment and let me tell you what happens what the afterlife is like. I will start by sharing this with you. No matter who you are, what you did, its one BIG, WILD and CRAZY party you're going to absolutely love.

I believe that one of three things will happen If your a good person you will receive the after life you believe in if your a horrible sick and twisted person (and not in the good kinda way) your existence will cease and if your the middle ground your life will be reset for you to make any changes in any of your decisions in your life (of course you wouldn't know if their different so you may run on a loop for a while)
