any good horror anime out there??

Im a sucker for horror and dark stuff and so far i haven't been able to find much horror anime, anyone know any good dark anime?? horror preferred but im cool with any dark themed ones (・Θ・) ?

OH , I didn't know that u have already seen it . In that case , I will suggest you to watch Paranoia agent and serial experiments lain . They aren't typical horror animes ... but they have an unsettling atmosphere and get dark at some places

Berserk would be the go to horror anime if the adaptations (besides the 90s tv series) weren't butchered. Even that one was toned down and skipped some of the more messed up arcs, still neat though. Only horror anime I've found enjoyable were Parasyte, Shiki and Mononoke (this one is more psychological horror rather than gory). I enjoyed the Hellsing and Dorohedoro manga but haven't gotten around to watching the anime, they seem to be pretty well received so I'd recommend them. Ghost Hunt is quite tame but also neat. There's also the short animated film called Magnetic Rose which has some really good sci-fi horror vibes. It's the first "episode" of the Memories Anthology. The other 2 episodes/short films are different so you wouldn't need to watch them.

@kaito_kid ahh yes ive seen higurashi no naku koro ni lolol it was good. ive seen a bit of paranoia agent and it is rlly unsettling, it gave me minor anxiety watching it lol ive seen serial experiments lain around but ill watch for sure ty ty
