I fought my "depression" with cannabis for over 10 years, but recently i decided to embrace my dislike/hate for people and work to increase additives in foodstuff, lower the quality of the brainwashing crap in tv, and spread false debunking rumours about serious scientific studies concerning lifestyle sicknesses. Death to humans! they are practically begging for it with their general behavior and complete ignorance to the world they live in... If a horse breaks its leg we put it down, why oh why dont we put down humans that are dumbing down the genes of the future?...

I've never been that depressed, I've had my gloomy spouts just as any living human being has had at least once in their lifetime!! I'm pretty complacent and more than satisfied with who I am and where I'm going. I have way to many depressed friends and family. I think it is just a gimmick like ADHD and ADD. Just another diagnosis to throw in your face and push you out the door. Then you end up thinking your mentally sick so you spend a long time using it as an excuse instead of making things better.

It's about what you do. Do something you truly enjoy. Do it as often as you can. I used to be "depressed". Gundam and music helped me keep it together. Because I loved both.

I battle with Depression every day. I do take medication for it, and it helps a lot. For me the medication has leveled out my emotions. I am still able to see what causes my emotions, but they don't get out of control. In addition to the medications I take, my love for animé, music, and antique radios gives me a kind of escape when I am feeling overwhelmed with life's crap. I'll add that while I am not opposed to medications, I am opposed to overmedication that would put someone in a haze.
