any one from Iowa???

Sometimes I wish I hadn't moved so much. Dam parents rule over little kids, but I have to wonder if I hadn't moved would I have become the otaku I am today? But I hate no one being near me, on myspace they're all on the west coast, facebook they're all friends from mostly high school here, none of which are Otaku, well serious otaku. So when the con rolls around I get to see a slice of Heaven for three days.

I wish I could go to the anime iowa meet ups, but I'm going back out to new york for otakon that same weekend. it would be nice to get a little group and all hang out together. oh, I don't have your number lol. might have to wait till the spring to hang out, its extremely tough getting to dubuque in the winter. >-<

i know how you feel. i travel to meet ups though. there usually about an hour away so its not too far. Happy new year by the way! ^_^

I think I want to start a chain hobby shop type store, it would have a hobby shop, a hangout place open to public on certain days and hours, a cosplay cafe type food court. It would be the ultimate American Otaku place, it'd be like a mini con but all year, and it's be closed during a weekend a con is taking place nearby. I'd love to work or run a shop like that work would be fun everyday
